Weighted Products

Deep Pressure Stimulation or (DPS) weighted products utilize weight and pressure to help with anxiety, distress, restlessness, and difficulties with attention and executive control. Weighted products have been used for nearly two decades by therapists, and include weighted blankets, weighted vests, weighted dolls and teddy bears, and other soft products that are filled with weighted beads or heavy pellets.

In studies, weighted products have shown offer a safe and effective means of self-managed behavioral control and reduction in emotional arousal among children with ADHD and Autims as well as teens and adults.
